Over the last 3 years, I\u2019ve traveled a rocky road: from business demise to financial stress, from a failed marriage to a broken heart. I\u2019ve often felt more like a battle-worn soldier with her legs blown off, trying to elbow her way off the field than a single entrepreneurial mother of six.<\/p>\n
I know I\u2019m not the only one. I know a lot of people have been suffering in the last few years \u2026 many in a lot worse situations than mine. When life\u2019s relentless daily and monthly demands march incessantly forward, it\u2019s easy to feel hopeless and trapped. It\u2019s easy to lose confidence when what you used to know how to do doesn\u2019t work anymore. You can lose faith in yourself and God when you can\u2019t trust your judgement, inspiration, or your\u00a0interpretation of it.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cGo get a JOB!\u201d
\n\u201cForget your dreams. They\u2019re impossible!\u201d
\n“People obviously don’t want or need what you’re offering.”<\/p>\n
Have you heard those words ricochet\u00a0between your ears?<\/p>\n
I know I have. Eventually you get to a\u00a0place of complete surrender. Your pride is gone. You don\u2019t feel like you have a right to advise anyone else how to live their lives because the world obviously doesn\u2019t work the way you thought it did.<\/p>\n
You feel more like a plastic bag floating across a parking lot than a human being with the ability to choose your path.<\/p>\n
Today, I was at the gym and I heard the song, \u201cTitanium.\u201d I\u2019ve heard it before, but never paid attention to the words.\u00a0 Today, I decided this is my new theme song.<\/p>\n
