Old habits, over-zealous desires, unhealed wounds or fears got in your way.\u00a0You may have made unwise or unhealthy choices as a result.<\/p>\n<p>You may even feel like\u00a0your mistakes have taken you so off course you will\u00a0never find your way again. This can be a very hopeless, frightening and lonely place to be. You may feel as if God let you down or that you have betrayed yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Today I&#8217;d like to share a few affirmations that might help if you or someone you love is in such a place.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>I am walking in the light.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I am 100% connected to Christ and the power of His atonement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I am 100% connected to the Spirit of God.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I continue to be divinely guided and protected.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I am 100% connected to my highest best self.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I completely\u00a0forgive myself for past mistakes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I forgive God for unanswered prayers, or prayers that were answered in ways I do not like or cannot understand.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I invite and allow Christ to heal my scars.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I look for good to come from my past and expect all things to work together for my good.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I am stronger for my choices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I trust myself to make correct choices.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I am fully connected to my personal power to make good, healthy choices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I release any feelings of powerlessness.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I take back my power from the adversary, from anyone or anything that has taken my power or to which I have given my power.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I am free to create differently today than I ever have before.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/marniepehrson.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/createdifferentlytody.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3117\" src=\"http:\/\/marniepehrson.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/createdifferentlytody.jpg\" alt=\"i am free to create differently today\" width=\"617\" height=\"249\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marniekuhns.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/createdifferentlytody.jpg 955w, https:\/\/marniekuhns.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/createdifferentlytody-300x121.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 617px) 100vw, 617px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I use each new day as a way to expand my possibilities and step into my greatness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I am doing amazing things and trust the process of my becoming.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I am strong and resilient.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I easily and swiftly recover\u00a0from setbacks.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I am filled with hope.<\/li>\n<li><strong>My future is bright.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I am worthy and deserving of all the good life has to offer.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I am fully open to receiving the good.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you ever prayed for an opportunity, and then when it came you royally messed it up?
