If you work with those moods, you can get an immense amount accomplished on writing your book. But if you fight the natural cycles, you&#8217;ll end up frustrated and getting little accomplished.<\/p>\n<p>I compare it to the seasons. If you try to grow green beans in the winter, you&#8217;re going to waste your time and your seeds. But if you plant them in spring, you&#8217;ll see swift growth and be producing beans by summer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/marniemarcus.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/creativecyclesm.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4317\" src=\"http:\/\/marniemarcus.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/creativecyclesm-300x300.png\" alt=\"creative cycle\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marniekuhns.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/creativecyclesm-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/marniekuhns.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/creativecyclesm-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/marniekuhns.com\/unplugged\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/creativecyclesm.png 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Learning to recognize and work with your natural creative cycle instead of against it can save you time, energy and help you make major progress on writing your book in a small amount of time.<\/p>\n<p>One of the phases of the creative cycle is &#8220;organization.&#8221; In this phase of the process, you may feel compelled to clean your desk, wash dishes, file paperwork or flesh out the outline for your book.<\/p>\n<p>While your body and conscious mind are busy organizing, your subconscious creative mind is really going to work in the background. This is why some of your best ideas come while washing dishes or folding laundry!
