Marnie, I’m so glad you shared what Christmas means to you. Such delightful memories gather with all of us around the Christmas tree, with family and all the things that make up our celebrations, but we often forget the true meaning. I know, over the years, I’ve struggled with finding my own personal meaning of what Christmas means to me. This year has been another hard one to prepare for, especially the past week, but no matter what I’m feeling at the holiday – the reason for the holiday, the meaning that keeps me celebrating is deeper. It is Jesus, my Lord and Savior whom we celebrate during this season. I shared mine on my blog – http://janverhoeff.com/blog – it’ll be the top article for another day or so. 🙂 Merry Christmas.
Love what you said here Jan: “Whether I celebrated or struggled through the holiday, Christ was faithful to show up and be with me. Every year, no matter how wonderful or how sad the experience was, Christ was there. Whether he was comforting me through a hard Christmas, or celebrating with me through the amazing years, He was there, by my side, my best friend.” I, like you, have felt him celebrating with me in the good times and holding my hand through the bad. Thanks for blogging your sentiments! More of us should do this! 🙂
Amen Marnie! Thank you for your openness and willingness to share! God bless you and Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Tracy! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!

Thank you, Mary Ann! I hope you and your family have a beautiful Christmas filled with peace, hope and joy!
Hi Marnie! You are truly a blessing straight from God. Christmas in my opinion, is
a great Celebration Honoring our Savior of the world. Our Savior left the nobility of heaven to be born in a stable in Bethlehem. We must all remember the marvelous mystery of God coming to earth as a man. He suffered, He bled and He died….I pray that His Spirit ministers to all people all over the world …for God is truly worthy to be praised. “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Marnie!” Keep on keeping on…You are doing a great work on behalf of our true an loving God. Please keep up the good work. I know that God is smiling on you and saying …”Well done thy good and faithful servant!” I am convinced that God has an even greater work for you to do…I believe that He is not through with you yet!
There are greater works to be done here on earth before God returns. I pray that He will bless and bring you peace as you strive to do His will …for some day according to His word …God will return to earth and establish His Kingdom.
What a wonderful day that will be!!! Many heart felt thanks for all that you do
in your effort to spread God’s word !”
